How to use Arena Connects for Chat Relay

Arena Connects allows you to connect your Twitch account to your Arena account for unified chat between the platforms. Please note that you can only connect one Twitch account to Arena at a time. Follow these instructions to enable Connects for Chat Relay.

1. Log in to Arena, click on your avatar picture in the upper right corner, then select My Account.

2. Connect to your Twitch account.

Click on Streams (1), click on Connects (2), then click on the Connect button (3).

If you are not logged into Twitch, you will be prompted to login.  Once you are logged in you will see the following screen.

Click Authorize to authenticate your Twitch account.  You will only need to authorize Arena in Twitch once.

After authorizing, you will be return to your Arena settings and will see your Twitch account name Connected as (1), and the unified chat options (2). 

3. Enable unified chat options.

Click on the toggle button next to each chat option to enable or disable them.

Please note that Allow Arena to Interact with Twitch (1) must be enabled to change the other configuration options. The optional options below are only available once "Allow Arena" is enabled.

The following are optional:

Ingest my Twitch messages into Arena (2) pulls your Twitch messages into your Arena chat.

Relay my Arena messages to Twitch (3) pushes your Arena messages into your Twitch chat.

Ingest general Twitch messages into Arena (4) allows all Twitch messages and commands into your Arena chat.

Relay general Arena messages to Twitch (5) allows all Arena messages and commands into your Twitch chat.

Click Save Changes (6) once you have completed configuring your options.

4. Managing your connection with Twitch.

You have two options to disable unified chat; turn off Allow Arena to interact with Twitch (1), or click Disconnect (2).

If you choose to reconnect Twitch within Arena at a later time, you will not have to authorize in again in Twitch.  Please note that if you are logged out of Twitch, you will be prompted to log into Twitch before the reconnect completes.
