Generating Your Stream Key

You will need to use broadcasting software to stream via RTMP on Arena and we recommend OBS. For complete instructions on setting up OBS and streaming on Arena, please see this article.

Your Stream Key is required to connect your broadcasting software to Arena.

How to Generate Your Stream Key

1. Log in to Arena, click on your profile picture (1) then select My Account (2).

2. Select Streams (1), then My Streams (2) and Click the Generate Stream Key button (3). 

3. Copy your stream key.

Now you can use the Copy button on the right of the Stream Key box to copy and paste your Stream Key into your broadcasting software.

Be sure to click Generate Stream Key before you attempt to copy it. Otherwise, the Stream Key field will remain blank.

4. Open your OBS software and click the Settings button in the lower right corner.

Select Stream (1) on the left side menu.

Select Custom in the Service dropdown (2). Insert the following into the Server box (3):

rtmp://live.arenatv.net/live

Then paste your Arena Stream Key into the Stream Key box (4).

Click the Apply and/or OK button (5).

6. Click the Start Streaming button to stream from OBS to Arena.
