Customizing Your Profile/Creator Page

Customizing your profile on Arena allows you to change elements of your public Creator Page like channel description, social media links, and profile banner.

It's a great tool for showing Arena viewers what your content is about and helping them navigate to the rest of your online presence.

We recommend everyone that wants to grow an audience spends some time and effort filling out these sections with relevant information.

How to Customize Your Profile/Creator Page on Arena

1. Click your profile picture (1) in the top-right corner and select My Account (2).

The profile customization screen will pop up.

2. Change your Display Name and Avatar in the Profile Identity tab. 

Your Display Name (1) and Avatar will be used to identify you in various places on Arena like live chats and your profile/Creator Page.

Please note that we have used the name you entered when creating your account as your Display Name. If you wish to use a different Display Name, you may change it by entering a new preferred Display Name.

Set your avatar by choosing between the provided Avatars (2) or uploading a Custom Avatar (3) at the bottom of the tab.

Changes to your Display Name and Avatar are effective within a few minutes.

3. Previewing and Publishing Changes to the Profile/Creator Page Options

It is important to remember to that after any change to the Page About, Images, or Links options, you must navigate to your Creator Page and publish the changes.

4. Change your Page About section under the Profile tab.

Your About section is displayed on your Arena Creator Page. It is your best opportunity to tell people who you are, what you do, and what you are creating.

Make sure to fill out the Description with interesting information that will entice people to check out your stream.

The Description supports a limited set of markdown as described in the article Profile/Creator Page Markdown Support.

5. Change your Hero and Poster Image in the Page Image tab.

Your Hero (1) and Poster (2) images help you create an aesthetic on your Arena Creator Page.

Choose images you love, or for a greater brand-building effect create some new assets that represent your content and community.

Make sure to use the correct sizes as displayed in this section or your profile images may come out grainy or distorted.

6. Link your social media accounts under the Page Links section.

These links will appear on your profile page so people can easily click them and see your content on other platforms.

These links will be public so make sure you don't include any private information or accounts.

After you've completed filling out this information, simply close the popup. 

Remember to navigate to your Creator Page and publish the changes.

7. Check out your slick new Creator Page!

Navigate to your Creator Page to view your changes.

Your profile page now looks awesome! Great work.
